The "supportless shelf" has a unique contemporary look but its use has been limited by its low loading carrying capacity.
This system designed by DC Woodworks uses steel, unique fasteners, and a modified core box shelf. In combination with attractive wooden
shims this system can be used in old and new construction.
The project shown here is made of white oak and red VALCROMAT® with a
curvaceous edge featuring both inside and outside "pinned" corners. This shelf system is capable of supporting a 30lb load 11 inches
